Essays, White Papers, and Blog Posts by Commission

I am always pleased to consider writing essays, white papers, articles, or blog posts by commission. I have had several such commissions, the most significant of which was a lengthy series of consumer-oriented posts on legal topics that I completed for a large international publishing firm.

If I accept a commission, I will do so on the basis that I will complete the work promptly and will keep you advised as to status. I am comfortable working within specified word counts, and am also able to pitch the vocabulary and complexity of the piece to the desired level. Even fairly meticulous clients tell me that my work product generally requires little or no editing.

The topics that are most squarely within my wheelhouse are those involving law, philosophy, ethics, literature, and religion. I am also happy to write about business, sports, current events, non-partisan public policy issues, and foreign policy.

In addition, innovation and design fascinate me, and I enjoy learning and writing about new or improved products, processes or services in a white paper or similar format.

Depending on the topic, I will consider book-length projects as well.
